Northwest Veterinary Acupuncture (NWVA) provides mobile veterinary acupuncture services to your home or stable. We treat horses and dogs, as well as the occasional kitty. NWVA is based in Battle Ground Washington and services southwest Washington and the surrounding area. We also offer in-clinic acupuncture appointments through Amazia Veterinary Service located in Brush Prairie, Washington.
Initial Examination and Acupuncture
The first visit includes a thorough examination of the patient both physically and from a Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) perspective. This allows us to discover any imbalances that need to be corrected or other factors contributing to the condition that need to be addressed. After the exam and diagnosis, acupuncture will be performed. This may be comprised of dry needles, electro-acupuncture, aquapuncture and/or Moxa as indicated. Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for this first session.
Recheck Examinations and Acupuncture
Reassessment of patient and acupuncture. Please allow 30-45 minutes for this appointment.
Mileage fees range from $30-80, and are not included in the above prices and are based on distance.
Appointments for small animals (dogs and cats) are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at Amazia Veterinary Clinic in Brush Prairie, WA. There is no mileage fee for appointments seen at the clinic. We regret that we are not able to service our equine patients at the clinic at this time.
